  1. Lately the fields of study/terms internet archaeology and digital humanities have piqued my interest. And (non sequitur?) while my website doesn't exactly conform to typical old-web design sensibilities, i still feel like neocities is the place to be. Site (haha) specificity, the medium is the message, materiality, and other phrases im probably misusing. Maybe it would be best to treat this page as wholly separate from the rest of my site: an offshoot of moldcity, a hut in the woods, living off-grid (or rather, extremely on the grid). I dont know what kind of character my logs and lists create the impression of, but i imagine itll be changed greatly based on what will be chronicled below. So reader beware. If, up till now, i seem fun and cutesy and funny and cute (Aw Shucks), and thats what you visit moldcity for, maybe dont check this page. Although, then again, in all seriousness, and to be quite frank, this is my website and i dont really need to know if/why/what anyone is reading of what i put out.

This time period aligns with my previous history of music-based interests and general subculture fascinations, sort of. It is particularly fun to find how people talked (or rather, typed) about him and his group, whether in YouTube comments, blogs, or in discussion boards. for more...

  5. I like to watch these at 2x speed. This genre of video differs from travel vlogs, interviews, day-in-the-life, or instructional recipes in how there is little focus on the workers as individuals, there is little to no direct audio commentary aimed toward the viewer, and uses the natural sounds. These videos tend to highlight or otherwise focus on the efficiency and/or the developed skill in making these foodstuffs. Related video types cover subjects such as street foods or cheap/free foods.
